Come Sail In Paradise in 2011
The Paradise Point Sailing Club is offering a full selection of fun courses and exciting racing for members and guests this summer.
Sunday Juniors:
We are in full swing with great groups of kids from 7years old enjoying Sunday sailing.
New kids can come along and join in with our usual group of budding young sailors who will take them out as crew for their first sail
All children start at our level 1 beginner sailor with the opportunity to progress at their own pace to level five at which time they can join in our Sunday afternoon club racing events
As a Safety protocol all new junior sailors are supplied with a safety helmet and PFD ( lifejacket ) included in their entry price
Time: Beginners 8:30am to 10:30am with a second class now starting at 10.30 am to 12.30 pm for our level 4 and above sailors each Sunday
Cost: $12 members or $15 non members.
Junior Racing
The clubs Junior race series is open to experienced sailors and utilises the club fleet of Tera sailing dinghys
This series is part of our Sunday Club Racing Series and is designed for the junior sailors who wish to learn the basic racing skills
The club supplies their own coach to help the kids learn both in the class room and on the water
to be elligible for this activity all competitors must have successfully completed the club level three criteria or similar
Racing starts at 12.55 pm ( bookings essential )

Sailing is open to both Junior and Senior sailors and now includes a windsurfing section
Time: First signal 12:55am

Winter Chill Series: 2011( not active)
Why let Winter get in the way of racing! Open to Dinghys , windsurfers & Multihulls.

Adult Learn To Sail:
You are never to old to start! We are offering 5 week courses each Saturday for only $350! per person
Check out our Calendar for dates, we have 3 courses programmed and can tailor individual tuition.
The next Adult Course starts on Saturday the 12th of February 2011( booking Essential )
Qld Boat Licencing:
For those wishing to obtain a full powerboat or jet-ski license.
The PPSC is qualified to offer Powerboat and Jet-ski Licensing Examination Service
Boat License Courses take place on weekdays and Saturday
Starting at 8am until 2pm( approx )
All courses are conducted at the club premises

PPSC has a fleet of both RS Tera,s and Lasers as our training fleet
We have chosen the RS Tera,s ( plastic ) and Lasers which are both Yachting Australia preferred training dinghy,s.
All Instructors are experienced dinghy sailors who are fully accredited with Yachting Australia and the Australian Sports Commission.
Courses are designed for those who want to learn to sail in a fun and exciting environment.
Before you know it you will be racing and playing a sport that is for life.
We also cater for school groups as part of their term sports and also as a one day introduction to the sport of sailing
Schools also have the opportunity to incorporate our program into their Marine, Physical Education curriculum or sports specific program.
The Paradise Point Sailing School Easter School Holiday Sailing Activities 2011
Sailing activities will start on Monday18th of April and run to Thursday the 21th of April and will comprise both two day learn to sail camps
